Barbados Entry Requirements Passports and Visas Everyone entering Barbados including all North American citizens must have a valid passport and a valid return ticket in order to enter the country. All international travelers are reminded that entering or re-entering their countries from Barbados or any other point in the Caribbean will require a valid passport. There has been a recent change in the regulations which require you to be in possession of a passport that is valid for at least six (6) month or more. Visas are not required for North Americans, Europeans or persons from Commonwealth countries. Check the nearest consulate or your travel agent for visa requirements as the list changes frequently. Entry requirements for: US nationals require a valid passport. No visa is required for stays of up to six months. UK nationals: British nationals require a valid passport. No visa for stays of up to six months is required, irrespective of endorsement in passport regarding national status. Canadians: Canadian nationals require a valid passport, but no visa for stays up to six months. Australians: Australian nationals require a valid passport, but no visa for stays of up to six months. South Africans: South African nationals require a valid passport. No visa is required for stays of up to six months. New Zealanders: New Zealand nationals require a valid passport, but no visa for stays of up to six months. Irish nationals: Irish nationals require a valid passport, but no visa for stays of up to six months. Entry requirements for: Nationals of the Czech Republic, Estonia, Hungary, Latvia, Lithuania, Poland, Portugal and Slovenia for stays of up to 28 days Passports must be valid for the period of intended stay. Passport/Visa Note: All tourists require a return or onward ticket, proof of sufficient funds and documents for onward travel. Visas can be obtained from any of Barbados' Missions overseas. Application forms must be completed in duplicate. The form must be accompanied by two passport photographs. The fees are $25 US for a single entry visa and $30 US for a multiple entry visa.
